Dr Lauren Stammers

Lauren is a second-year GP registrar. Originally from the Goulburn Valley, she relocated to Melbourne to pursue her studies, completing a Bachelor of Biomedicine followed by a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne.

Lauren has gained a variety of clinical experience, having worked at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne and the Royal Darwin Hospital before transitioning to General Practice in Geelong.

Lauren welcomes patients from all backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and LGBTIQA+ individuals. Some of her areas of interest include women’s health, paediatrics, and geriatric medicine.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys hiking, spending time at the beach, and being with her family.
